How AddSync AI works: ask, check, look, decide
Your person asks a question. AddSync checks the rules, the AI reads only the mail it needs, and you decide what happens next.
The whole route takes seconds. Nothing is copied to another place, and nothing is sent without your click. Here is each step, in the order it happens.
The four steps
You ask
Your person types a question in Claude, in ChatGPT or in the chat inside AddSync. For example: "Find the invoice Liam sent in September."
- They use the assistant they already know
- They ask in plain words, in their own language
AddSync checks
Before the AI sees anything, the guard looks at your rules. If a rule says no, the AI gets no mail and the person gets a short answer why.
- Is AI switched on for this person?
- Is it their own mailbox?
- Is the limit for one question respected?
- Does the data filter allow this mail?
The AI looks
The AI gets four buttons: search, show, save draft and propose. It searches, opens the few messages that match and reads them to answer. It does not take a copy.
- Only the mails the question needs
- An encrypted route to your server
- No send, no delete, no move
You decide
The AI shows the answer. If your person asked for a reply, it appears as a draft in Outlook. They read it, change it and press Send themselves, or they delete it.
- Nothing leaves your mailbox on its own
- The journal records who, when and which button
What happens to your mail
The short answer: it stays where it is.
The AI reads a message when your person asks a question that needs it. AddSync does not build an archive of your mail and does not train anything on it.
What AddSync keeps is the journal. One line per action: who asked, when and which button was pressed. The text of the question and the text of the mail are not in it.
When your auditor asks who used AI on which mailbox, you open the journal and answer in minutes. See the overview.
Example: from question to draft
Emma Carter works in accounts. She asks for an invoice and a reply.
